About Bonnie

Bonnie Budzowski

During her fifteen years at the helm of Gravitas Press, Bonnie Budzowski most often played the role of Chief Story Whisperer. With curiosity and patience, she teased out her clients’ stories, those near the surface and those buried within. In conversations over Zoom, multifaceted stories emerged, often with gem-like qualities and lessons the author hadn’t known were there.

As Bonnie guided her clients’ books projects to completion, the authors not only expressed their excitement over holding their books in their hands, but they also sometimes remarked, “I feel seen and heard.”

All of us have a deep longing to be seen, heard, and appreciated as the precious, one-of-a-kind individuals we are created to be. Not surprisingly, Bonnie’s own stories, found in her book, Ebenezer Chronicles: The Missing Spiritual Practice, reflect this longing. Bonnie’s book reveals how a broken and bruised girl found healing, hope, and joy, mixed with grief and continuing longing, at the feet of Christ.

Bonnie holds an MA in Communication from the University of Pittsburgh and an MA in Biblical Studies from Trinity Anglican Seminary. She was founder and president of Gravitas Press (formerly inCredible Messages). Bonnie achieved a qualified membership in the National Speakers Association (NSA) and served two terms as president of the Pittsburgh Chapter. She is a seasoned speaker and workshop facilitator.

Bonnie received the NSA President’s Award for Distinguished Service in recognition for her editorial work on Speaker magazine. She also received the Woman of Integrity Award from Pittsburgh Professional Women.

If you catch Bonnie in her free time, you will likely find her sipping coffee with her nose in a book, battling with the deer, rabbits, and groundhogs who gorge themselves in her garden, or experimenting with something sweet in the kitchen in her Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania home.

The precious people in Bonnie’s life include her husband, Rick, her daughter, Meagan, and grandson, Charlie.
